Terms and Conditions for Diagnostic Assessment Services

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our diagnostic assessment services for neurodivergent conditions provided through We Hold A Hand. By booking and using this service, clients agree to the following:

1. Service Description

We Hold A Hand offers professional diagnostic assessments for neurodivergent conditions (such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, OCD, Anxiety Disorders, etc.) conducted online by Registered Clinical Psychopathologists. The service includes:

  • Booking via our official website.
  • A scheduled online assessment session.
  • A formal diagnostic report is delivered to the client via email.

2. Eligibility

Clients must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent/legal guardian if under 18. We currently serve individuals residing in regions where telehealth services are permitted.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Clients must:

  • Complete the online booking form accurately
  • Choose an available date and time slot from the clinician's calendar
  • Attend the assessment session on time via the designated online platform

Missed or late appointments without 24-hour prior notice may result in rescheduling fees.

4. Confidentiality

All personal and medical information shared during the assessment will be treated as strictly confidential in line with GDPR and other relevant privacy laws. Diagnostic reports will only be shared with the client or an authorized party with the client’s consent.

5. Assessment Results

Following the session, clients will receive a written report of the assessment outcome within 7 working days. This report may include a diagnosis, recommendations, or referrals for further support.

6. Fees and Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Fees cover:

  • The assessment session.
  • Administrative support.
  • Delivery of the diagnostic report.

No refunds will be issued for missed sessions unless cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

7. Use of Diagnosis

Clients are responsible for how the diagnostic report is used, including sharing with healthcare providers, educational institutions, or employers. We Hold A Hand does not guarantee that third parties will accept or recognize the assessment.

8. Limitations

Our assessments are conducted remotely and based on the information provided during the session. While our Clinical Psychopathologists follow professional standards, no diagnosis can be 100% conclusive. A follow-up or second opinion may be recommended if needed.

9. Changes to Service

We Hold A Hand reserves the right to update or change these terms and service offerings. Clients will be notified in advance of any significant changes.
