    Testimonials

I didn’t want to come to therapy as I find meeting new people very stressful, and I worry that everyone is looking at me and judging me all the time. I felt like an embarrassment to myself and my family. And I didn’t think anything would help me. But the therapy did! You took time to understand my difficulties and it wa so useful to know that I was in control of the therapy process. I never thought I would be able to do some many of the things I do now because of the sessions. It was great to not just talk about the problems but practice how to manage them differently. Thank you for helping move into doing mode. I don’t think I could have done it without your encouragement during the therapy sessions.

The therapy sessions with Sarah have been exceptionally helpful. She is a warm and approachable therapist, and knew exactly how to help me. Before I started the sessions I was very depressed. I wasn’t sleeping or eating properly and was crying all the time. Sarah seemed to understand how upset I was and didn’t try to dismiss this. I am enormously grateful that I had the space to honestly talk about how I was feeling to someone outside of my family and not be judged. I now know what led to me becoming depressed, and why it was so difficult for the depression to stop. My mood is much better, I am doing more, sleeping better, eating more healthily and regularly, and enjoying (most!) of life again. At the end of the therapy sessions we developed a plan to keep me on track and doing the techniques that helped me recover. I am now living again and not just surviving thanks to the therapy.
